Hanna Chomenko was born Anía Gonzalez Gonzales in Havana in 1973.
She graduated from the prestigious Academia de Bellas Artes San Alejandro in Havana. She has exhibited widely in solo and group shows in Cuba, Spain and the U.S. Her work can be found in collections in France, Canada, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Mexico, Germany and the U.S.
She has illustrated for publications that include “Banco de Ideas ‘Z’”, “La Gaceta”, “La Revista del Libros” and “Revolución y Cultura”. She has also illustrated book covers.
