Victor Mora

Victor Mora was born in 1964 in Havana, Cuba. He studied in both Havana and Santiago de Cuba. He graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from the Escuela de Diseńo in Havana.
He has exhibited in some 15 one-man shows and 30 group shows in Cuba.
About his work, the artist says he deals with themes of infancy and youth, trying to find and bring out the ‘sleeping child in each of us’, our whimsical and playful selves.
Mora and his work have been featured in a number of publications in his native Cuba, including Granma and the magazines Apunte and Espacio.
He has also illustrated Children’s books, including the recently published book “
From the Winds of Manguito”  a book of Cuban Folktales in English and Spanish.
Victor Mora lives in Havana, Cuba.
